Description
On November 3, 1994, locomotive no. 3 made the last official round-trip journey between Dublin and Gorman to service the Birdsong peanut mill. TEXC 3 is an Alco S-2. It was originally manufactured as no. 19 for the Houston Belt & Terminal Railway. The Texas Central Railroad (TEXC) purchased the unit in January 1970 and renumbered it as TEXC 3.
